Welcome! I am Kilian Theil, a data scientist and historical fencer.
In September 2025, I joined the District Historian (Stadtteil-Historiker) program of the Polytechnic Society Foundation, who accepted my grant proposal “Masters of the Long Sword: The Marxbrüder in Frankfurt”. Over the next 18 months, I will research the history of the first imperially privileged fencing guild and its 500-year legacy in Frankfurt.
I hold a PhD in Computer Science, an MSc in Business, and a BA in Culture & Economy.
